Suspension Testimonials:

"The suspension is way better than before! I used to suck on turns at the track now it seems like i use them to my advantage, I never would have thought turns would be my strong point."

-James Castillo

I'm a little late reporting, been busy with my new job in Japan, but here it is. I finally dropped my suspension off to the guys at RG3 for a revalve and smart valves. It was just in time too, as the first Round of the Vet X Xtreme Prize Give-away Series was scheduled for the notoriously rough Glen Helen. I got in from Japan on Fri, picked up my suspension on the way home from the airport, and made it out to Glen Helen Sat at 1pm for 1 moto of practice, they close at 2pm The track was already plenty rough from a days` practice and I could immediately feel a significant improvement in the suspension. It was far superior to the stock setup...I don`t know exactly what they did to it,but it was incredible! I knew Sunday`s race was going to be good despite not being able to maintain my conditioning as well as I`d like due to my new job. We went on the same gate as two of the intermediate classes and I was able to hang with them for a couple laps, my conditioning did get me eventually. I raced the 28-35 Nov class and won both motos! My new suspension ROCKED. I can`t say enough about it. I can say this though. It`s great to have all of you as sponsors and this is additional evidence of how significant each and every one of you are to our racing effort.

Thanks to RG3 and all of you,

Joe Hernandez - Mojo Racing

My suspension is absolutely amazing! I could not say this a few weeks ago. Although I thought it was good, I had no idea what REAL suspension was until RG3 gave my forks and shock a makeover. My confidence level dramatically increased due to the incredible setup you guys provided. I have yet to make any adjustments from the settings you had and the forks and shock have performed flawlessly on every track. I noticed a difference on every aspect of the track from soaking up studder/breaking bumps to making normally harsh landings feel like landing on pillows to being more consistent in turns. Whoop sections feel like straightaways, I get more hookup out of turns and rear-end kick-up is a thing of the past thanks to the RG3 linkage. The upper and lower triple clamps are just as impressive. My bike turns on a dime and the up and forward position clamps help me feel at home on my bike! I am able to ride for longer periods before feeling fatigue and armpump, due to the performance of the RG3 products. If you have anything other than RG3, especially stock, get your suspension to them asap!

My name is Kyle Wood and I am 13 years old. I weigh 130 lbs. and ride Suzuki RM-Z250’s and RM-Z450’s in the Intermediate class. I struggled with my suspension all year until my dad sent it to RG3. Now that RG3 has done my suspension with their new linkage, I can blitz the whoops with confidence and blaze through breaking bumps and know that the bike will handle perfectly. My lap times have greatly improved because the bike turns so much better with my new triple clamps. I have had a few injuries in the past and now I realize it was because my suspension was not working for me. I feel safer with RG3 and I will not ride anything else from now on.
Several of my friends asked me how I improved so quickly and I told them “RG3 does Suspension Right”.

Thanks so much,
Kyle S. Wood

"I am really happy with the way the suspension performs. This was my first time ever having the suspension reworked and I was very anxious to try it out. At first it was hard to tell the difference, but as I started pushing the bike faster, I could definitely tell it feels a lot more stable in rough stuff, and is way more predictable on jumps. Also, if I find myself not landing a jump perfectly it soaks it up quite well, boosting my confidence even more. Probably the most unexpected thing that I noticed it that the motor feels stronger after I had the suspension done... I think it is because since the rear shock is now less prone to blow through the stroke, power that used to get wasted in compressing the shock is now more effective in making the bike accelerate."

Thanks,
Luke Proudfoot

I did have suspension work done by you guys, I had both the front forks and rear shock completely rebuilt for my 02 YZ 250 and yes I have been out several times since and on different types of terrain as well. Ocotillo Wells, Gilman Springs Road(Moreno Valley), Stoddard Wells and from hard pack to loose gravel to sand and I couldn’t be happier with the performance of my suspension. I’ve been riding off road for 36 years, since I was 5, and this is the first time I’ve had my suspension professionally set for my weight and riding style(free riding and trail) and the difference is undeniable from a confidence stand point as well as bike performance. Cavernous whoops, no problem stay on the pipe and all you feel is a slight flutter as the rear wheel hops from whoop to whoop. Deep burms or sandy turns again no worries front end stability entering the turn has allowed me to carry more speed in and I am able to maintain that speed exiting the turn because of the increased traction I’m getting from the rear, I have yet to experience that sort of trampoline bounce in the rear end when your set to soft, it’s like a brand new bike without the price tag. Jumping, the acid test. I love to fly through the air. No freestyle nonsense I’m not clicking, can canning, or back flipping a damn thing I still have a job I have to show up for when the riding is done for the day. Step ups, bomb drops, tables, and big dunes is what I love the most. There is a mean ass step up at Gillman that I would hit in 3rd, last time I was there I hit it in 3rd and over shot my landing by at least 15 feet and came a washout away from dropping off a 10 ft ledge in to some cactus. My rear end didn’t suck up like it used to so I ended up popping off the lip like a pogo stick. I hit it in 2nd the next time and it was like butter, I didn’t even feel the landing. There is a little gap I like to hit near Shell Reef in Ocotillo Wells and once again I hit it in the gear I used to before my suspension work and sure enough I over shot the damn thing only this time it was by quite a bit and I flat landed from about 20 ft in the air and it felt like I landed on pillows I couldn’t believe it I fully expected to crush it and when I didn’t I actually started to laugh. On that particular jump my knees, nuts, elbows, and wrists thank you. Until the day comes that I am physically unable to ride or you close your doors to business no one else will ever touch my suspension I am a customer for life. One question though, are you going to produce any street bike applications with regards to your triple clamps or top clamps or even complete suspensions for street bikes in the near future. I also have an ‘06 R1 and if I can get the same kind of performance upgrade for that that I did for my YZ, well I’m starting to drool just thinking about it, please keep me posted on any such development. Thanks again for the work you guys did on my bike.

Before I had the RG3 suspension, when I would come up short from a jump, my back end would swap side to side, throwing me out of control but now w/
RG3 suspension and linkage it helps my bike stay straight coming down landings.

Another thing I noticed right away was how the RG3 suspension helped me with whoops. Before I was basically out of control, but now I am able to go straight thru them, with the suspension absorbing the shock.

I noticed the difference in coming into corners, my bike hugs the ground and helps me get into burms and ruts, and follow thru with a smooth pace.

Lastly, I noticed a big difference with breaking bumps. After the track starts to
deteriorate, the breaking bumps get very sharp, but with the RG3 suspension
and link, it helps keep my back end from swapping out and keeps me on a straight line.

Thanks again for all your help,

-Michael French

"Your setups are the best I have ever had. Bye-Bye Race Tech."

-Richie Beckham

I am great. I have messed around with it recently at an old timers race. A friend of mine has a lot of experience with his own suspensions, and he watched as I raced and we tried differant settings. I have to say that I love my RG3 Suspension, the first day I rode on it I could tell a hugh difference from stock. I have yet to bottom out the rear shock. I feel alot faster and a lot more confident. I feel that through more riding I will get it dialed in for each track I race or practice at. I will hopefully ride this weekend and I will pay attention to my Fork and Shock set up. I will let you know if that I think or feel that I could improve it. Thank you very much for your email I hope to hear from you again soon.

Thanks for a great suspension!

-Todd
