2010 AMA Monster Energy Supercross Series – Toronto,
Ontario, Canada
Steven Clarke – 17th
Matt Lemoine – 20th
For RG3 Biloxi/Suzuki City teammates Steven Clarke and Matt Lemoine,
the Toronto Supercross couldn’t have started off on a better foot.
Both Clarke and Lemoine were in the same heat race and managed to
qualify directly out of their heat. For Lemoine, he proved to have
the speed of the top guys as he finished third in his heat race
and was looking forward to repeating that performance in the main
event.
Come main event time, both Scuba Steve and Lemoine found themselves
running inside the top-10; however, Lemoine ran into some mechanical
issues and was unable to finish out the 15-lap main event. As for
Clarke, he was running strong until the last few laps of the main
event when he hit the deck pretty hard. The Suzuki pilot was able
to get up and remount to finish the race in 17th.
Although Clarke and Lemoine didn’t have the best of luck in Toronto,
they both proved to have the speed necessary to be top contenders
each weekend. We’re sure you’ll both riders running strong this
weekend in Dallas, TX.

All of the RG3 backed riders finished inside the top-10 for the
first time this year!
Heading into this round, both Jeff Gibson and Nathan Skaggs were
tied for fourth place overall, but Gibson’s 3rd place finish on
Friday was enough to propel him to an eight point gap with only

Jennifer Burton and Nick Paluzzi Lay Down the Law
in Texas
2010 Lake Whitney Amateur Nationals – Texas
Women 12+
Jennifer Burton – 1st
250 A Pro Sport Nick Paluzzi – 11th
250 A Nick Paluzzi – 7th
450 A Pro Sport Nick Paluzzi – 2nd
450 A Nick Paluzzi – 2nd
The Lake Whitney Classic kicks off what is the beginning of many
big amateur nationals over the course of the year, all of which
comes to end at the Loretta Lynn Amateur National in the middle
of summer. With Lake Whitney now behind us, everybody has made his
or her way to Oak Hill this week for even more racing and hopes
of winning a championship.
Over the weekend at the Lake Whitney Amateur National, Jennifer
Burton pretty much dominated her class, finishing first overall
with a 2-1 endeavor in the Womens 12+ division. Burton actually
shot us a text this morning after winning her championship, “Hey,
I won this really cool donkey race thing over the weekend!” Yeah,
Burton still rocks a good sense of humor. Jenn has now made her
way to the Oak Hill National with hopes of winning another championship.
Congratulations, Jenn!
Nick Paluzzi made his A class debut over the weekend at Lake Whitney
and it couldn’t have gone much better. In the 250 A and 250 A Pro
Sport classes, Paluzzi had a couple problems, but still managed
to land inside the top-10 in two out of his four motos on the 250.
In the 450 class, Paluzzi rode like a true champion, finishing second
overall in both the 450 A and 450 A Pro Sport classes. Like Burton,
Nick is also now at Oak Hill with hopes of repeating his performance
and hopefully improving to that number one spot!
We’d like to congratulate both Jennifer and Nick on their outstanding
performances at Lake Whitney and are looking forward to even more
success this week at Oak Hill!

PAR Honda Racing Update
After dealing with a foot injury sustained two weeks ago, Brad Anderson
made the decision to go racing on Friday night. Anderson’s decision
proved to be a smart one has he managed to nab two wins in the MX1
class at Foxhill. Meanwhile, Martin Barr was also riding with an
injury. Barr had a couple plates put in his face on Wednesday after
a training incident and, like Anderson, made the decision to race
at the last minute. Martin managed to finished third on the weekend.
For the British Masters at Mallory Park, Scott Elderfield made
his return to the racing action finishing second overall in the
MX2 class and winning the first moto of the MX1 class. The second
moto was cancelled due to rain. And for PAR Honda’s youngest member,
Luke Hawkins, it was yet another great weekend of riding, producing
an 11th overall in a very stacked class.

Is it time for Service?
Keeping your suspension finely tuned is an important part of getting
the most out of your riding experience. Whether you’re on dirt or
street, worn out suspension cause a lot of problems and take away
the fun of riding. We recommend you service your suspension every
20 to 30 hours on the dirt, or 15,000
miles on the street to unsure optimum performance. If you further
the hours on your suspension over the aforementioned times, you
could be causing damage to the internal components of your suspension.
With an RG3 Rebuild, we disassemble, clean, and polish your fork
tubes. From there we inspect and measure the service limits of the
parts and replace your fork suspension fluid and set the oil level
in the forks. Any worn parts are replaced and fatigued valving is
replaced in stock configurations.
Don’t let your suspension wear out and ruin the fun of riding.
Drop it by us for a full rebuild and an improved overall feel for
the track and/or road! For more information call us at 714-630-0786
or visit us at www.rg3suspension.com.
